Introduction

Stepping Stones is the overall name for the activities offered by St Andrew's Histon for Under 5's and seeks to help children step from their first week, until the beginning of their school life. The groups run with the support and encouragement of St Andrew's Parish church. Stepping Stones is managed by a committee of staff and parents and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Our 2008 OFSTED report recognised that at St. Andrew's Stepping Stones "All children relish their time in the stimulating and well resourced environment" and "The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding"

The Aims of Stepping Stones:
